The hotel had a lovely, cozy decor that made me feel at home. The common areas were beautifully decorated with warm colors and comfortable furniture, perfect for relaxing and socializing. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The pathways were well maintained, making it easy for me to navigate around the property. Additionally, the staff were extremely helpful and always available to assist me if needed.
I would have loved to see more activities specifically tailored for senior guests. Maybe some organized outings or exercises that would cater to our needs and interests.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. The hotel facilities were impressive, including a fully-equipped kitchen and a cozy rest area outside. The location was convenient, not far from the main road and close to a stunning natural attraction. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay.
Nothing could have been better.

During my Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of the couple who managed the accommodation. They went out of their way to make sure I had a fantastic breakfast, even though I hadn't come prepared with food. they provided me with tools to fix a bike issue, which was a great help. The location of the hotel is perfect for those seeking a peaceful countryside getaway, surrounded by beautiful nature. It's also worth noting that the nearest petrol station, about 20 km away, offers cheap fuel.
While there were no major drawbacks to my stay, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, it's important to do your shopping before arriving, as there are no shops nearby.

One thing I absolutely loved about our stay at Mezupes was the beautiful and cozy decoration of the hotel. The interior was adorned with charming and rustic elements that gave it a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtfulness in creating a comfortable and pleasant environment for all guests. The hotel's general areas were spacious and well-maintained, providing ample space for relaxation and socializing. , I found the hotel to be very accessible for senior people, with clear pathways, well-lit areas, and easy navigation throughout the premises.
If I had one suggestion for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, I believe having dedicated staff members specifically trained to cater to the needs of senior guests would enhance the overall experience.

We had such a great time at Mezupes Guest House! The location was perfect for our family trip, with clean and spacious rooms. Everything worked properly and the self-service was convenient. The nearby beach was absolutely stunning, even though it required a short drive. The owner was hospitable and even let us borrow bicycles. I highly recommend this peaceful and cozy retreat in the beautiful countryside.
The road to the beach was in poor condition and not paved, which made it a bit challenging to get there. Additionally, the property lacked family-friendly amenities like a playground and outdoor space for kids to play.

The location of the hotel is great, with a beautiful nearby beach that is worth visiting. there are supermarkets and local restaurants just a few kilometers away, providing convenience. the owner of the hotel is also very helpful and discreet, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The property lacks family-friendly amenities and activities, which may be disappointing for families with children.

The room at Mezupes was like a cozy home away from home with a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchenette. We loved making our own meals in the kitchenette, especially using the toaster, fridge, and kettle provided. The private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries made us feel pampered, and the hairdryer was a great convenience.
Personally, we didn't enjoy the hairdryer at Mezupes. But hey, that's just us!

This was our third stay at Mezupes Guest House on our trips to the Baltics, and I can definitely recommend it. It's a great place for families, with clean, spacious, and cozy accommodations. Everything works properly and the self-service option is convenient. The location is also ideal, as it is by the road but still quiet. The surrounding nature, woods, and deep snow in winter make it a truly magical place. The nearby trails provide opportunities for beautiful walks, and the countryside sauna is a nice addition. The hospitable owner, Inguna, adds a personal touch to the experience. a true gem of a place.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
